O.M.G., Love and Death!

Rick, you are a G.D. genius!

Easily one of the funniest movies of all time. Certainly, one of the films I’ve most quoted in my lifetime. Made when Woody Allen remembered that it was OK to be funny and before his whimsies turned toward the young ladies, this film is a comedic masterpiece.

Just your mention of it makes me smile. In fact, I’m already jealous of anyone who will be watching it for the first time! Once you do, and you agree with us, treat yourself to the also sublime, “Take the Money and Run“. The “jokes that hit quotient“ for these two films is off the charts.

I bought The Heart’s Invisible Furies last July from your prior recommendation. Finally got around to reading it around the holidays and loved it. We have similar tastes, it seems, so I usually act on your book suggestions. Not sure about Godzilla though but… I do have grandkids…hmmm. I visited where they filmed Godzilla once in Tokyo. It was pretty cool!

Rick, I wanted to get Godzilla for my grandson but my daughter AND my wife said NO! So although it looks a Bargain (and my grandson would Love It) I have to Pass 😞 I’m not much of a book-reader, but your recommendation looks good
