Can't fathom spending $45 on a CUP? You've come to the right cheapskate. PLUS: A $12 label maker and the lowest price ever on a 100-inch (!) TV. To watch the Lions in the Super Bowl, of course. 🤞
Rick, we agree on most things but we agree to disagree on your show recommendations. My wife and I both enjoyed Poker Face but we both thought The Diplomat was too far-fetched. I don’t think we finished Season One.
I laugh at the Stanley mania. Twenty years ago I worked in a paper mill and a lot of the guys had Stanley lunchboxes and thermoses ( I don't think quenchers existed then) They werent buying them for status, they were buying them because they lasted.
Maybe "meh" was too harsh... my wife really liked it as well, but I struggle with Natasha Lyonne's voice and general demeanor. She's... not my favorite. :)
Rick, I love the way you think. You have not only saved me a ton of money over the years, but have given great advice on books , tv and movies. Thank you!
Bruh! If you have kids or grandkids as I do you know if it ain't Stanley it ain't bussin. Your too late, but I will send your firm words in a share of your blog to the kids and have them promise not to buy another Stanley Cup.

I get it- Stanley is too much $$- But I have to say the quality....the fit of the straw, the ability to stay cold or hot for hours, dishwasher safe, one lid for all temp drinks and the feel of the handle is better than the dupes, so to each his (or her!) own. If you end up buying multiple cups to satisfy your needs, than you may end up spending, the same amount. I would rather buy quality I love once than meh multiple times. Maybe I am just justifying it for myself, but I love it! :)
Hi Dan! I love Rick’s newsletter but especially when I get a shout out!

Thanking your amazing sister for the Netflix recommendation! Pass it on.

Don't know if you watch SNL but they did a skit lampooning the whole thing with Stanley Quenchers "Big Dumb Cup"
Saw it the very next day!
I picked up the NIIMBOT label printer. Works great! Nice little printer and blazing fast. Amazing price.
Have to disagree on Poker Face,my wife and I loved it, but we were both fans of Colombo as well.

We thought Fisk was absolutely hilarious! Enjoyed Diplomat ... ish. Hokey is an understatement, but it held our interest.

Fair points! :)
Loved the Diplomat! Can’t wait for Season 2.
I think that's part of her appeal. She's not visually and audibly like every other generic actress out there.
Agreed, and I liked her in Orange is the New Black, but in Poker Face she just grates on me.
