Like you, have used the straps for quite some time (absolutely love them). Upgraded to the Samsung flip and can no longer use the strap and like you, like to have some security when holding my phone. Saw a promo for the oh snap luxe and dove in. Being I have an android, I've ran into some charging issues (my existing wireless chargers won't stay connected). So dove in deeper and got their magsafe charger, works perfectly. The rebate thing is a bit quirky buy you can choose to get an ecard for a little less (which is the route I went (probably should've held off to use said rebate on charger but oh well). All in all, I'm liking it very much.
I had the 1st gen Oh Snap, and got this Luxe model at CES a couple weeks ago, tremendous improvement! I like it a lot! But yeah that online price ... geez at least give free shipping.
I bought 2 of these to try them on different phones. The magnetic part isn't really happening for me - not sure why. It could be that the mag connector that's been in my car is not polarized correctly. I ended up just using the stand stuck into the vent! Overall it's a solid build, good company and the first pop-out handle that I've actually used because the rest are too bulky. The "standy" fold-out bit is nice once you figure it out - you have to really force that thing in there! But it is overpriced, I just got over it since I paid that much for dinner last night! LOL
Yeah, I guess everything is relative. You could barely even eat dinner out for $40! Yet this is something that's on the device I use all day every day, so from that perspective it's probably worth it. It just FEELS overpriced, y'know? :)
Been in KC for over 30 years now. It has been truly amazing seeing the positive impact of our Chiefs winning the Superbowl after a 50 year drought. I wish Detroit and the Lions all the best. Maybe we'll meet up in the big game at the end. Go Chiefs!
I had a previous version of the snap and really enjoyed it. when I replaced my phone and had to get a new one, the snap is just way too expensive. I agree on the pricing $ 25 all in and I would have gotten it.
I bought a Snap 4 Luxe. The price did put me off for a while, but nothing else works the same. Have a handle AND charge? Where do I sign!?!? I can’t get the stand bit to work, but that isn’t a dealbreaker for me. Overall, I really like it so far.

P.S. I have been eyeing that Snap 4 Luxe. I am willing to pay more to support a startup, USA-based company, but you’re right in that is a lot to pay for what it is. I’ve been really happy with my Speck Presidio Grip MagSafe with ClickLock. The StandyGrip accessory is a bit ugly but works really well. Once you use ClickLock accessories, you won’t want to use any accessory without ClickLock.

Thanks for mentioning this. I was planning to pick one up but that does seem awfully high. There's a similar product on Amazon from Lamicall that gets 4 out of 5 stars and is only $12.99 plus a 15% coupon, I just ordered one of those instead...

It says it's magsafe compatible, or maybe you can just pop it off your phone if you have a magsafe case. I don't rightly know, I have an Android so none of that really matters to me. I just want the thin carry handle, so it's a better price and option for me...
