Thanks for taking time to write these blog posts. I find them enjoyable & interesting and would miss them if you decide to give it up (which I would understand). I confess that I bought a half dozen of those USB data blockers, primarily to use as gag gifts (USB condoms anyone?) for family members.
Re the idea of tech support for "seniors": we're transitioning into an era where many of us 70+ have spent the majority of our adult lives using computers and other tech – I've owned a computer since 1981 – and wouldn't need it. It will be interesting to see what level of interest the poll results from your readers will show.
Great newsletter. Your segment in rebuttal to the juice jacker warnings would do well as a standalone post or a Facebook post that can be shared. I’ve been very skeptical of this warning because even on Android I believe you have to allow permissions for a new device to connect to your phone beyond charging power
Thanks for all the deals Rick. You've definitely led me to many good ones over the years. You've been a great deal shepherd. That being said, do what is right for you, and while I can't speak for the rest of Deal Secret Nation (and former Skaters), I would wish you the best.
1) I too have purchased quite a few items from your well thought-out reviews. I will miss these if you go on to other things.
2) maybe I'm misunderstanding but I do carry power only USB cables for public places.
3) As a senior who works with computers on a daily basis and whose job it is to update and maintain computers (albeit at the enterprise level), the last thing I want to do when I get off work is to figure out how to do this or that. So, having a good place to search for common problems or just to know something *is* a common problem would be interesting to me.
Last night I bought the ipad keyboard refurbished on woot for $59. This price at walmart is ridiculously low. It is for the older 3 versions 7,8,9, not the new 10th version but still a great deal. The 9 is available for $249-$269. If I weren't already set, that's what I would get.
I just received the ESR Geo Wallet. Thank you for your review and discount code. As you said, the only thing missing is a place for bank notes (although the spring mechanism of the stand is strong, and I will try using it as a money clip). So far I am very happy with this wallet, and if it wasn’t for your review would not knew it existed.
Thank you Rick for all the great writing and deals over the years. I really look forward to your comments and tweet each week.

Glad you like it! I'm still using mine regularly... :)
Does the Mandelorian need a special code to get it for $10? (That link yields $16.78.)
Sorry to say the deal is likely over. I'll keep an eye out for the next one!
