"Yes" on the battery packs. The best solution I have found for capacity and flexibility is by Will Prowse on YouTube. He has some excellent DIY videos on solar and batteries like this one to build a backup battery. (https://youtube.com/watch?v=PjdB5m38MTs&feature=share7) He has a parts list on his site, as well.
We also bought a replacement battery for our Dyson. Be careful that it is still sized similar to the original battery, otherwise it could over power and burn out your Dyson. We are so pleased to have the original runtime back when using the Dyson.
The Dyson thing is real. I bought a refurbished unit that you recommended about 8-10 years ago. It has been going strong and working like a champ. Dyson must have a good refurbishment team.
Rick, for the Microsoft Office deals, yes, it's for a lifetime, but just know that if you are putting it on an old computer, and that computer needs replacement, it is NOT transferable to the new computer. I would only buy this deal if I also had a new laptop or desktop so you know it's going to last years. It's lifetime of the one device you buy it for only!! This is a crucial point!!
Came back to thank you for the Andor (really, all your to watch) recommendation. Had decided to cancel Disney+ and were not going to give Andor even a trial watch after trying Boba Fett and giving up after a couple of episodes. My household has been enthralled with this show! Thanks again!
Analysis paralysis. There are a number of Dyson stick vacuums at different price points. Some cheaper ones appear better than the most expensive. How to choose?
The other thing to watch for when shopping is digital coupons. There has been a couple times when I clipped a coupon before going to the grocery store, entering my customer number and then noticing afterwards that the coupon wasnt applied. Granted its usually for well less than $1 savings but still
On the refurbished Dyson V10 Total Clean, it is on the Dyson site for $269.99 right now (https://www.dyson.com/outlet/refurbished-vacuum-cleaners/cordless/v10-total-clean).

The stack social deal for the Microsoft suite is legit and works great
Microsoft Office 21 has a "retirement" date of October 13, 2026. So you get 3+ solid years at that price!

Hi, Steve... I believe there are ways to work around this, though it may actually require a call to Microsoft. Here's one thread where this is discussed: https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/all/ms-office-transfer-to-new-computer/4bd7b095-4d91-465c-a997-f129631233c0
Hope that's helpful!
I got the Office suite last time around when you mentioned it, and am happy with it. Appreciate your snappy, humane writing style, BTW.
Glad to hear it, and thanks for the kind words!

So glad you're enjoying! :)
Thank you Rick

That's a question I can't answer, I'm afraid. It's like trying to pick a printer right now... eight zillion SKUs, all very similar.

Yep, I've noticed this as well. Gotta pay close attention!
