I found the perfect pans -- and they're cheap
Or, at least, they were; here's how to get them the next time they go on sale. PLUS: A $24 home-security camera? Yes, please.

Happy Easter to those who celebrate it!
These are weird, weird times, and I don’t care where you fall on the political spectrum, one thing is clear: Everything is more expensive than it used to be, and signs point to it getting much worse.
Does that mean we should “buy now” before prices skyrocket? I have no special knowledge of the future; I’m all about the deals you can get today.
But the one I intended to share just vanished in the worst possible way (i.e., the price jumped to an all-time high), so I’m going tell you about it, then let you know how to get alerted if and when the price comes back down.
Before that, a few quickies…
QUICK HITS
Clutter is my enemy, therefore I’m a fan of anything that helps me find permanent homes for things. Like this: For a limited time, and while supplies last, the Lisen self-adhesive magnetic clip 8-pack drops to just $5.57 when you clip the on-page 5%-off coupon and then click Redeem next to the 15%-off promo code (or enter it at checkout: Y3U4DR4R).
Designed with cable management in mind but also suitable for things like keys and sunglasses, these little stick-on pads feature magnetic clasps to keep cords or whatever else securely in place.
I’ve long been a fan of Wyze smart security cameras. They’re cheap, and they work really well. For a limited time, and while supplies last, the Wyze Cam v4 is just $23.98, the second-lowest price on record. It’s normally $40.
The v4 is the latest version of this venerable little camera, which can install indoors or outdoors. It offers 2.5K resolution (better than most), local video recording (on a microSD card, not included), color night vision, a spotlight/siren for security, and more.
Advanced features like person/pet detection do require a subscription, but Wyze Cam Plus runs a very reasonable $2.99/month.
I finally found cookware that doesn’t suck — here’s how to watch for the next price drop
I’ve been through my share of pans over the years: Pricey wedding-gift sets, YouTube influencer-recommended skillets, Costco’s bundle-of-the-month, and so on. They all disappointed in one way or another.
Leave it to my sister to find the winner. Maybe I’m a little early in calling Blue Diamond cookware my all-time favorite, but after two months I’m still incredibly enthusiastic about it.
We started with 10- and 12-inch skillets, then added a 5-quart saute pan with lid (which also fits the 12-inch skillet, thankfully). These ceramic pans are suuuuper-nonstick, PFAS- and PFOA-free, dishwasher-safe, oven-safe, and even metal utensil-safe. Limited lifetime warranty, too. Absolutely love them so far.
Now for the bad news: Although the saute pan is currently $39.95, which is about where it’s been selling since January, the two skillets are now $63.53, the highest they’ve been, well, ever. Coincidence? Tariffs? I have no idea, but I paid around $45 for them back in February. Take a look at this price-history chart:
To be honest, $63.53 isn’t a bad price for this pair — but knowing that it’s typically around 30% cheaper, I’m hoping this is just a temporary jump.
If you’re willing to wait, click here to visit the CamelCamelCamel page for the skillets, then click Add Amazon Price Watch. Set your desired price, enter your e-mail address, and you’re done.
(Needless to say, CamelCamelCamel works with any Amazon product, which is why I’ve championed this little tool for as long as I can remember.)
Oh, one last thing: Yes, I already have an inexpensive cast-iron skillet. It’s great — for some things. It’s also heavy, a pain to clean, lacking a lid, etc. But with this Blue Diamond threesome, I feel like I’m covered (ha!) for just about everything.

That camera shown is really easy to set up, actually its surprisingly easy. those of us remember the days of old when you had to get an IP number to set any network item up.
Stop encouraging me to spend money Rick! No, seriously, love what you do. Thank you
