I’ve written a lot about item trackers, those little Bluetooth-tethered gizmos that can help you locate keys, backpacks, purses, luggage and more. Apple’s AirTags are the best-known product in this category, though I’d argue they’re not the best product.
For starters, there’s the $29 price tag. Yes, they’re often on sale for less, but nothing like this: For a limited time, and while supplies last, the Ugreen Smart Finder item tracker is just $9.99. No codes, no coupons. Reg. price: $19.99.
You can even get a 2-pack for $18.98, bringing the per-unit price down to just $9.49.
Compatible only with iPhones and iPads (sorry, Android users), the Smart Finder is just like an AirTag in that it works with Apple’s Find My network. That means even if it’s outside Bluetooth range, you might be able to locate it via every other iPhone on the planet.
(I know, it sounds a little ominous, but it’s not. It’s actually pretty ingenious.)
There’s a built-in eyelet for hooking the tracker onto a keychain or the like — something AirTags lack.
And Ugreen promises up to two years of operation from its replaceable battery. Most trackers, including AirTags, last just one year.
I own one of these; it’s been riding shotgun inside my suitcase, just in case it ever goes missing. I just now re-tested it… yep, still works.
Ten bucks. Ten bucks. Insane deal. Do not miss.
